I am sorry that I haven’t been blogging.  I don’t even recognize wordpress anymore.  I will pretend I was on a long vacation spending lottery money.

My how time flies when you get older.

My kids introduced to me the new marvels of technology. The year 2011 we got some camera that lets you make videos, a cell phone, and I finally got the PS3. The gang has made over 350 youtube videos. (Gasp!)

My New Year’s resolutions will be to blog more even if its just to myself because I think writing is cool in all forms.

To stay fit. ( Hmm… this one seems to make the list every year.) and Enjoy Life More.

And Erm…   Hello !   ( Yes I am still alive)

I just got back from Walmart about 10 minutes ago. They were having a Midnight release of the expansion and the first 25 people were given a nice Deathwing poster. I wasn’t sure what to expect for turn out. It was nothing like the videos they show. There were about 10 of us,  it did seem of those that were there half bought the Collector’s Edition. It was fun being with some of the true fans of the game. I was certainly glad that I didn’t have to wait outside it was 19F  (hehe..)  I will say its kind of hard to get to sleep right now. I can’t wait to play   Hope everyone else has an easy time of getting the game and see you out there! * Grabs his mining pick and goes off to do some ore farming*

I’m  still working 2 jobs 6 days a week and my time is very limited for gaming.   Do I miss it? You bet!  I still enjoy reading blogs and playing whenever I get a chance however sleep is the only thing I have been questing for lately hehe…

Figures the one day I decide to post and its crazy late and a thunderstorm is moving in.

Hi all!

Just thought I would throw this out there for people who don’t have kids reminding them every day about it hehe. Mine have been bouncing around all excited about the Double Station Cash weekend on Free Realms. EQ 2 is having this as well. Good time to get some if you have been on the fence about it.

In other 4th of July news, fireworks, family get togethers and some time off from work is just what the doctor ordered. I still pick away at leveling my multitude of WoW characters and read blogs when I can. I have been enjoying watching the next generation of gamers come up and play the games that are of interest to them. (my kids, nephews, nieces, and their school mates).

I will sit back in the corner sipping on my beer and remember the good ole days of Pong being played on the black and white television. *Cackles like an old man* 

Hope eveyone has a safe 4th of July!

Well for a few days at least.   Seems EQ2 is having a Try Sentinel’s Fate FREE for Three Days and Claim Your Free Armband from the Marketplace thingy. I happend to see this on EQ2 players while reading the forums. Good thing I read this from time to time or  I would have missed this offer. I don’t think I will actually be able to see Sentinel’s Fate since I don’t have any high level characters. Still a middle of the week offer for free play time is better than nothing. ( * Vlcan wonders about SOE marketing dept. * /shrugs)  

 I got my free armbands, (They look a little girly but meh) hehe…  I logged on my lv 22 Berserker and felt like a noob again so I checked my quest journal and found a quest I received on 7/14/2008.  No time like the present so I ran around Kelethin and Greater Faydark looking for the places I needed to.

Finally got the quest done and now I have a new quest received on 5/12/10. Hopefully this one won’t take me 2 years to finish lol.  Well off to bed, I have to get up early and go to work those two jobs tomorrow.

Hope everyone is having fun getting lost in whatever world they are playing in.

Spring update

I don’t know about others but Spring time is usually the busiest for me. Like a bear coming out of hibernation there is so much to do. Time to work off the winter weight with outdoor exercise.  The weather is so nice. No bugs or heat/humidity yet.   I got a second job so my free time is a premium and game time has really dropped off.

Another thing is that the kids are off of school in three weeks?!! Soon there will be a wait for the home computers as the kids have picked up on dad’s gaming habits

Well just a quick post for those who may wonder what happened to Vlcan.

Now I’m off to my Mom’s for a sneaky Mother’s day ambush! Then  tomorrow my wife is the Princess for the day. Haha.  I will post my gaming news tomorrow. Right ? Right!?!! Right!!!

I really enjoy City of Heroes/City of Villains. Maybe it from all those comics I collected as a kid. *shrugs*. I will be playing this over the weekend. Lots of people forming groups. So if you need a break from your regular game or are in between games come have some fun.

Thats right another Albion ML 1-9 Raid this Saturday.

The last one I went on was fun but these raids are from ye olden days. You know the ones that have 140-160 people in them, and last 7-8 hours. (Ugghhhh.) I would prefer shorter raids but you do get a lot done if you stick with it.  These guys move fast. If you go afk you will find your self left behind. You can come and go as you please but finding the zerg can be difficult some times.

Still they are fun, so get your chores done, grab some snacks, order a pizza and enjoy the ride.

/cackle *Vlcan throws back his head and cackles with insane glee, running off to grab his underwater potion for the water part grumble.* Im coming to get you again Phoenix and this time its personal. Mwhaha!!!

This is where I go to find out about fun stuff going on in Ywain. I missed the last one but plan on going to this one. I am not sure what chars I plan on taking. I have narrowed it down to Cleric, Scout, Necro,  or Paladin. I am still having fun in Daoc, but have been a little sidetracked with the Valentine’s quests in WoW.
